My educational background includes: Clemson, Citadel, University of Southern Illinois as well as Michigan State Certification in Mechanics. I am a certified Auto Collision instructor and hold certifications in DuPont and Sherwin Williams Paint and Products. Students are the priority for me. Each student should leave my program with skills that will help them as they move into higher education, the military or into the work force.
My care and concern for my students shows as I work to provide a personalized education so that each child can reach their maximum ability. It is important to me that each student finds a path to self-worth and achieve success.
I bring over 45 years of automotive experience to the classroom. Not only have I taught Auto Collision at ACE for more than 25 years, but I have also taught for the Technical College of the Low Country. I have worked as a Diesel Mechanic, Massey Ferguson Manufacturing, Chrysler Corporation Assembly Plant, New Car Dealerships repairing damage and imperfections on new vehicles and have been a business owner.
My family and I are leaders in the community. The Anderson family believes strongly in community and have volunteered in the Bluffton community for many years and are devoted to working with children both in school and on their personal time.
My students have the opportunity to earn industry certifications such as ASE and Paint & Product Certifications from PPG & Sherwin William as well as compete at Skills USA. Many students have won or placed at the state level and have had the opportunity to compete at the national level.
